Apparently more than 13 because that is how many times I tried and we never did get it!
While my sister Mary and I were in California we tried to get a nice picture of the 4 cousins with their great grandma Butler. They kids had just eaten a good lunch, a yummy dessert (Jackson wouldn't part with his for the picture) and they were getting ready to go swimming. You would think it would be pretty easy to get them to smile~ we were wrong!

Even though it was my child crying in all the pictures I was laughing as each picture scrolled by- why is it so difficult to get 4 kids happy at once and to get grandma to actually LOOK at the camera? Fun memories- smiling or not :)
You need a good photo editor :o) We did family pictures last August and only got Cambria to smile ONE time...and unfortunately it wasn't at the same time as everyone else...we were all looking at her. Good thing our photographer was a good photo editor! He took the best picture of the rest of us, and superimposed the smiling picture of Cambria on top! We really shouldn't have to work that hard to get a good picture!
I love how Shayden is smiling in every picture, and Tanner--what a crackup (except when you're trying to get a good picture).
