Back from the dead, or at least the sick
A couple of days later Shayden finally lost her top tooth. I say finally because it had been loose for at least three weeks. She was very concerned about it falling out while she was sleeping, so we had the same conversation at bedtime at least a dozen times about the tooth fairy still bringing her something even if she swallowed it and it not causing any problems if she did happen to swallow it while sleeping.
Then just 2 days later she lost her second top tooth (that had only been loose for a couple of days)! Her new found wealth is sure burning a hole in her pocket!
Here are the kids in their Valentine pj's from great grandma B! I tried to get Tanner to smile, but he just kept telling me "Mom, I still like my jammies, but I just don't want to smile right now." What a funny little kid! With only one car, we all pack in to take Korby to work in the morning and we all pick him up in the evening. Here is Jackson reading a magazine while we wait for Korby to come out the other night. He was so interested in it and it just made him look so mature~ I couldn't resist.
Well, we are finally back on the up and up, getting back to normal (whatever that is), and starting the count down to spring!

It's finished..... or is it?
My basket is officially empty! I'm done! Except that Korby already has one of the shirts on this morning, so it begins all over again!
Shayden told me our house looked like the store we go to get dad's suits cleaned (the dry cleaners!) I should be getting paid for this!
PS Heather made a comment on my last post about wrinkle free shirts. I love them, however, they are not wrinkle free and crisp enough for Korby's taste! They are significantly easier to iron than regular shirts though.
PSS How crazy am I? Last night we just bought Korby ANOTHER shirt! I guess that will make it an even 40.

I've got my work cut out for me
There was not a single shirt in there! Then I went to take a look at my ironing basket, which always has at least some clothes in it. But again, I quess I hadn't been paying much attention to it, because this is how big the mountain had gotten.....
I had just finished the laundry, so everything was clean. I dumped out the basket and counted the items~
Jackson: 5 shirts
Tanner: 6 shirts
Jenni: 1 shirt
Korby: 39 shirts.... that's right 39 shirts! So I made a deal with myself that I would work on the ironing for the next couple of days until my basket is empty. I also decided to start timing myself to see how long it was going to take me to iron it all. It seemed so daunting, that I did just about everything else I could find to do around the house before starting~ cleaned both toilets and bathroom sinks, did 2 loads of dishes, cleaned my room, made my bed (at 9:30 pm- that's how desperate I was not to have to start ironing), cleaned out my walet and purse, paid the bills, cleaned out the desk drawers. I would have done more, but my kids were in bed and I had to be quiet. So, I finally started ironing and here is what I accomplished in an hour and a half....
I still have quite a ways to go, so maybe I should go iron instead of playing on the computer!
